: A couple of days ago I posted asking about the plans you have made for your tortoises/turtles after you die. Particularly those of you who have a lot of them. Three brave souls replied, but I'd still like to hear from more of you. Who knows? Maybe one of you is holding out on the 'perfect solution' and don't even realize it. Thanks.

A friend of mine, Dave, came across a possum that had been hit and was still alive, though barely. He decided to go ahead a shoot it and put it out of its misery. (It was in front of his house.) Just as he was getting ready, a car drove up and the man inside asked Dave what he was going to do. Dave explained and then the guy asked him if he could have it. Dave kind of twitched in disgust and said, 'OK'. The guy replied, 'Thems good eatin!' Needless to say, that statement has become a favorite to repeat in appropriate situations.
