: dear theresa,
: how long have you been rehabilitating? i heard other rehabbers say it is the constant cycle of abuse and neglect they see which is the worst. Why do you say adopting is most stressful? i would think that it would make a rehabilitator happy to see a turtle get a good home? i think that is how i would feel.
Hi Meg,
I said its " probably" the most stressfull. Helping animals is easy and comes natural. But dragging info out of ppl and flat out finding a nice way to tell well meaning ppl no when they dont do any home work and etc... This is how animals get sick in the first place.
Basicaly you spend almost as much energy feeling good about where they go as getting them well.
Its probably a maternal thing but this is why I could nver breed animals to sell unconditionaly with no input on where they go.
tcc :)
