: Aside for turning your torts over to Turtles Homes for placement after you have died (with their release form), what arrangements have you made for them? I'm particularly interested in what those of you who have a lot plan on doing. Although I have no intention of keeling over before my mid-nineties, good intentions don't always have much to do with it. I have Virgil and 3 RES and it is frequently on my mind. Thanks for your response.
Well when we purchased our first sulcata we knew what we were getting into and we discussed it with our kids, who are 14 and 16 y/o currently, that this was the kind of pet that would be handed down through the family. So that is our plan for the two that we have. It is always in the back of my mind that plans don't always go the way they were meant to, but my hopes are that ours will. In the mean time I enjoy our Tonka and Buster one day at a time.
