Rob I have never kept leopards but I was told they can lay 25+ eggs in a clutch. I would guess that calcium would be important for the female and dehydration may be a problem. Humidity (i am told) should be around 75-80%. Vermiculite is a good incubation medium, I use one cup of water to three cups of vermiculite. Bush Herpetological supply makes a "NP" incubator that would work great. www.pythons.com/bush/bush.html
Good Luck
: I recently purchased a mate for my large (18 in.) LTC leopard tortoise.
: She laid a clutch of 13 eggs, followed by 15,17, and 19 at one
: month intervals. I have several questions. Is it common for the clutch size
: to increase like this? Any idea of how long the clutch size will continue to grow?
: What supplements would help her recover from the strain? And finally, are there
: any good commercial incubators out there that are a) good for leopard eggs in
: particular (i.e., humidity and temp. stability) and b) large enough to hold 100+
: eggs. I'm currently using old Havabators that I used to use for python eggs and I'm
: running out of space. Also any other advice from leopard breeders would be
: greatly appreciated.
: Thanks in advace,
: Rob
