Worried about elongated tortoise wheezing

I have two elongated tortoises that are now wheezing constantly. One of them yawns a lot, but he has always done that and its usually after he wakes up. They have no other signs that may indicate a respiratory infection. I took them to the vet, but they would not wheeze when I got there. I have already spent over $600 on vet bills in the last 6 months. I'd like to take the precaution of given them antibiotics but can't really afford it right now. However if this wheezing does indicate an infection I wouldn't hestitate to pay the bills. I payed about $100 for check up and antibiotic injections before. Is this about right?
I keep the temperature in their tank at 90-95 during the day and about 75-80 at night. Should i try to increase the temperature? I would appreciate any advice as I am really worried and wouldn't want them to die.
