Hi Mike, you can use the calcium and vitamin supplements even daily as I did, but about 3 times per week should still do it. I use Herptivite vitamin powder and Rep-Cal calcium powder. I also provide UVB lighting in the form of the ActiveUV heat and UVB combo bulb but you can also use a regular UVB bulb such as the Reptisun 5.0% by ZooMed and then a regular heat bulb. As Justin said, unfiltered sunlight even for 1/2 hour per day is excellent. Now is a good time of year to be able to provide that, although I think with babies you should make sure you supervise them outside rather than throw them into an outdoor pen for now. Any outdoor pen should have fresh shallow standing water and shade as well as access to sunlighted areas.

Keep in mind that baby sulcatas have shells that tend to be somewhat pliable and that as they approach and reach 1 year of age, they should be firming up. A tortoise's bottom shell may always be a tad pliable...but if you are providing UVB and calcium and a proper diet and temps, you shouldn't have much to worry about in that area...
