Among all the bad news this week ...........

I have some good news that perhaps may make you feel a little better . You may recall my post about Zeus my homes hingeback tortoise . Well its the close of the third week since I got him
and he is getting more lively every day . He has been having the appatite of a sulcata lately which I am glad to see .

He also has a nice shallow dish he can clime in and out of with no problem at all ( he did not have one at the pet shop )
and loves his soaking in it in the morning . He seems much happier just for that reason ( having room to move around in might be part of it too ) . He still shows no sign of health problems and I check him regulary to see if thier are any signs of cold etc . I am also considering strongly the idea of having him as part of a breeding project . Prob is I have not seen any CB Homes Hingebacks for sale Let alone CB his age . So if anyone knows where to get a mate for Zeus I would be grate .
