Thanks for the update! I know it will be difficult to part with him for a while, but his genes need to be in the pool. I'd be curious to know how many Egyptian tortoises there are in the US & how many folks are breeding them.

These questions should be added to the US Census form: Do you keep any reptiles as pets? If so, what kind & how many of each species? Was this animal captive born or wild caught?
