That's a good idea Esther.

But to pay full price for sick turtles only encourages the store to get more.

However.
If the turtles can be bought and taken *straight* to a vet,photos taken, etc.then you have evidence of their neglect.

If they do send somebody in to buy the turtles, that person shouldn't get deffensive at all.
They should simply show interest in the turtles and maybe say "Oh they look a little sick, can I get a discount on them" or something like that!

You have to tred very lightly in these cases.
If the turtles disappear, then there's no evidence.
No evidence, no case.
