Leopard Tortoise Behaviour

We have recently bought a young Leopard Tortoise. We would like to know as much as possible about it if you have any information, but in particular it has not been to the toilet for about two weeks. She is still eating is this normal or should we be concerned?

Also do these tortoises bask or rely upon ambient heat?
