Not beening able to find my Hermanni tortoise l searched my pond and found her eventually 2 foot down. She had been under the water for a least 3 hours and possibly more. Her limbs had turned white, her kneck was completely extended and her eyes were wide open. She had no reactions and was for all believed to be dead. I up-ended her to drain water out and we then started to warm her with a hair-dryer continually up-ending her till no more water came out and then started to move her limbs about. After 15 minutes we had a reflex from her head and ten minutes later she blinked. After an hour she started to move her limbs and she was then placed overnight in a tank with a lamp. By the morning she appeared to have recovered and is now again walking the garden. Apart from some heavy breathing she shows no sign of trouble but are there any other problems that l should look for.
