If you are checking the temp and it is in the proper range, some natural sunlight might help. If it is too cold to put it outside maybe you could put it in front of a window on a sunny day. I know some places are having very few sunny days right now. My turtles and tortoises seem to be more active with natural sunlight even if it is just coming through a window than any type of artifical light I offer.

: I have a baby sulcata, aprox 3-4 months old, he/she eats fine, and appears to be in great health, my question is, does anybody know why it keeps sleeping all the time, its eyes are always closed, except when its eating, otherwise, its always alseep, ????????no buildup around eyes, or mucus, it has perfect living quarters, etc,
: thanks
