I highly reccomend Russian tortoises. Many will tell you they dont do well in high humidity, but, mine do great in South Carolina. They do very well indoors but need some room. Most you find are about 4" but I had a female reach 9.5 inches. Redfoots are great too! they like the humidity and have wonderful personalities. They do get big. Hope this helps!
