How can gritts kill ants?
The adult ant of most species cannot digest solids. So they take it back to the nest and feed it to the larvae, but not until after most of the solids have been pulverised. No moisture is usually involved at this time. Thus swelling cannot occur. The larvae digest the food and produce a honeydew like substance that the adults can digest. This is how most if not all ants feed.
Has any one actually used gritts to kill ants and it really worked?
I am not saying it is imposible, its just not likely.
This includes the use of potato(e)(if you are a former V.P.)
