Hi Jared.
Russian tortoises aren't really grazers, they don't eat much grass.But do eat some edible flowers and plants etc.Hibiscus for example.
So yes keep up with the salad and add in other greens, dandelions, Romaine lettuce, endive, escarole, chicory and a little grated yellow squash.

There is a wonderful Russian Tortoise email list you can subscribe to.
It's free and will put you in contact with many other keepers of Russian tortoises.
I keep them and am subscribed to the list.
