Well, you'll see what I'm talking about if you persue the endevour of breeding this species under the guise of doing it 'for the good of the species'.

I didn't say anything about releasing the hatchlings. I would undergo such an endeavor under the guidance of the California Turtle/Tortoise Club and/or fish and game. My motivations are positive. I appreciate your comment though...
