Hi Terry and Ed, : Theresa, : Must have been some move with all your torts etc! : That's a lovely grazing area. : Mine don't try to escape or dig near the fence line.Or anywhere else. : If sulcatas think they can get out, they'll try. : But that is a wonderful area for them, they're going to be very happy there I think. : That's how sulcatas should live :) : Terry.

Yes im in Texas. Only one of my sulcatas has dug a burrow but its under a tree and she cant get far :) Wayne, (the big one) will throw mud on himself when playing in the sprinkler, but thats about it. If they shoud burrow under, they still have lots of property towards the front and a privacy fence to go through before I catch them
Is there any way to train Leops to go into the shed at night? Thank goodness they are not as heavy!
night all,
tcc :)
: have you moved to Arizona or are you still in Texas?
: My sulcatas area is probably about twice that size, but not planted with such a variety.Just three or four different grasses, clovers and vetches etc.Plus we keep it mowed down short. And believe it or not, although all three graze constantly, there's no bare patches!
: Other food like the hibiscus and opuntia I grow outside the area.
: They do have a mulberry tree though and love the leaves off that.
: Two go back to the shed each night, by themselves.
: Bubba though has taken to sleeping outside the back door, in a cozy little spot there.
: I'm sure you already know that!
