Ian, I don't know much about the Testudo Graeca but I do know that I would either cut out or severely limit the potato, as potato is a legume and is high in protein and could cause pyramiding. Also, squash is good but only as a treat once in a while....most of the diet should be dark, leafy greens (as you listed) and grasses and clovers. You can (unless you are using medications where the tort needs to be hydrated) cut soakings down to 1-2 times per week. Your friend seems to know what he or she is talking about...but don't let that stop you from reading up on your tortoise! -Marissa
