: : After acquiring 3 baby redfoots along with sulcata and leopard babies, I've learned that the baby redfoots especially require some protein in their diet more than the others. So, with that in mind, I stopped by an asian market and purchased meat balls made from white fish(vacuum packed) with relatively no additives or preservatives and virtually no fishy smell. They are about the size of a golf ball and have somewhat of a firm, jello texture to them. Needless to say, I warmed one up, cut it into 4 pieces and put it in with all the baby torts (redfoots, leo's, sulcata's) and purposely put the redfoots in front of the pieces and all took some bites. I came back and even the sulcata's took a few bites also!!! I figure if it's protein they need, then fish should be better than beef right?? I mean, I'm not trying to make them health food junkies, but if its just protein they need then what the hay??? If anyone has any comments, ideas, or thoughts, I welcome hearing from you all. (Especially Ed....) Thanks for reading..
