While yellowfoots are quite hardy these are wild caught. That is why they are so inexpensive. Wild caught animals are tough, as a rule, to acclimate. You should have a fecal done in the very least and treat accordingly. Do a good deal of reading on these because like redfoots they are omnivorous and the diet is very improtant in that case. Until they do get acclimated make sure the heat and hydration are carefully monitored. Handle them as little as possible and feed them as much variety as possible.

: I am considering buying a pair of wild caught yellow foot young adults. What should I know? Do they nee to be de-parasitized? Anyone have any experience with wild caughts and do they aclimate ok? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
