I had my year old Hermanns out in the yard today & noticed she was eating tiny white rocks. She seemed to be seeking them out, only going for white stones. Some she would nibble then move on, but most she swallowed. This went on for a few minutes then she stumbled upon a patch of clover & pigged out there until full.
Is this normal behavior, should I be concerned, & is this going to stop her up? I mean for gosh sake, she was eating rocks!! I don't relish the idea of having to deal with the necessary procedures to cure an impacted tortoise.
