In Reply to: What can I do about these biting ANTS???? posted by EnJay on June 23, 2001 at 09:12:18:
I have a square made from 12" X 36" boards which I put over the nest, so torties can't get to the nest. Next I sprinkle soma AMDRO on the nest. The ants bring the amdro into the nest, and they are history. Make sure the square is securely held in place, I use cinderblocks, or the sulcatas may push it aside, giving them a way to get at the poison. Don't use Diazanon, it will kill your torts right away if they get to it.
