: Anyone caring for Bell's out there I'd love to compare notes on how you're keeping yours. Mine are moody and I don't know if they're happy or sick. They're sharing a 50 gallon terrarium with moist bed-a-beast, a water dish, and an eating platform. Artificial plants for cover, an under the tank heater and a reptisun tube light. Temps range 80 to 85, It's humid. They don't move much. What's wrong?

I have 2 bells, a male and a female. I keep them outside in the summer and indoors in the winter. Despite the fact that I hear frequently that they are hard to keep they have settled in very well.
I give them a soaking 2 times a week, but not too much humidity otherwise. They love the rain.
When it gets too hot(85 plus) they hide in their "cave" and dig down in the dirt to cool off.
