Where can you purchase plants that are not from garden centers. I quarentine my new plants for usually about three months before I let my turtles or tortoises have any parts of it to it. However with plants like violets and petunias they mostly all died before the three months were up. Also I am terrible at trying to get plants to grow from seeds or cuttings.

As long as the plant is not treated with pesticides or herbicides (in other words, don't buy from a garden center), then the tortoise can basically eat the entire plant if it wants..leaves, flowers, and even stems...
