This sounds fine. Make sure that it is the air that is humid and watch that the bedding does not get too wet. Through much research, I believe that they do in fact need some humidity. But, this can pose a prob. with raising the humidity you must watch for mold growth and excessive wetness that can lead to bacteria growth. Also, heat and humidity balance can be difficult. I use the same type of system b/c of not wanting wet bedding. I see a difinite behavior and health change when allowed the natural humid habitat.
