Sulcata and the slug

Today I was outside feeding my boxies slugs that I hunted last night. I had them in a butter bowl and wasn't paying attention and one slithered onto my finger. I screamed ahhhhk and flung it off. Well the slug went flying into my sulcatas pen right next door. She ran over and gobbled it up. Hummm, I thought you weren't supposed to like meat???? And she begged for another, so I gave her one more. Is this odd? Will this harm her in anyway? (She is 5 years old and healthy) Thanks for any replys! :) Dawn
