I have been looking at getting a redfoot, russian, egyptian, or hermann's tortoise. I know thier mature size and housing requiremnts, and am fully prepared to see that they get it. However, for the next three years, during the school year only, due to dorm restrictions, it would have to live in a 10g aquarium. It should be able to go outside everyday that the weather is nice, and I know where pesticides aren't sprayed so it will be safe. Is this acceptable to any of the above tortoises?
