I changed my Russian tort's home to a huge box that our riding lawnmower's bags came in. It is about 4.5 feet long and 3.5 feet wide. She still has her hiding place and the heat lamp and the other UV lights positioned on the one side and the heat lamp is on the other. Is this a suitable habitat???? It gives this little tort a lot of room cause she is no more than 5.5 inches or so. Also since I changed to the box there is not that much reptile bark, just enough to cover the bottom of the box. Should I buy more and make it deeper and if so how deep???? Also do I change the bark and wash it off???? I don't see why I should cause she only goes the bathroom in her water. Well I am sorry this is so long but if you could please answer my 3 questions I would appreciate it:GOOD HABITAT? DEEP SUBSTRATE? and CHANGE SUBSTATE? I just want her to be as comfortable as possible. Thanks.
