Thanks Kevin!
Hey - I just went to the new turtle homes website and they have a fantastic questionarre on sulcatas (see "sulcata reality check"_ and other really good information about russians too! I can't reccommend it enough for a potential owner. Good luck with your decision and let me give you the link. . . Go to Marissa's recent post (about 7 down from this one) on Turtle Homes website is live).
: Very happy to hear that . I am hopeing to get a tortois this year . Sulcata and Russian are on the top of my list . Seeing your good luck and that of others are very encourageing . not only that the local head start has shown an interest in me takeing some of my herps over for the kids to see . I know thay would love to see a tortoise included . They have a charm all thier own . How
: could anyone resist them .

: Take care ,

: : The show was very fun! Everybody nice and smiling, with tortoises walking around everywhere! Chanel and Angel had their own baby pool, and a sandbox (without sand or water, of course). At some point, Chanel got in the mood and jumped the fence to mount Angel Baby, and then all business just broke loose! Right next to them, two greeks started their own courtship rituals; I suppose it was catching!!! A lot of children learned about the birds and the bees today a la tortoises. . . .
: : Chanel and Angel Baby reveled in all the attention, and they did their very best to charm everyone who stopped by! I was completely shocked when they won a blue ribbon! YAY!!!!! I guess now I'm a pageant momma and will have to start stocking vaseline, hair spray and eyelashes LOL . . . .
: : Thanks for your support, y'all!
