: I used to work with Bell's several years ago and was lucky enough to have repeated breeding success. I believe mine usually laid in Nov/Dec, here in Northeast. Also, years ago I wrote a little husbandry article for one of the turtle clubs and would be happy to dig it out for you. Email me if interested.

: : Has anyone out there been successful at breeding K. Belliana? I've had my female 3 years and my male 1 year. They've been very actively breeding during the summer months - I'm very hopeful that she will lay this year. The thing I'm not sure about is what time of year she will they lay? I've read during Dec. and Jan., but I'm not sure if that is correct - I live in southern CA. They stay outside from April - Nov. and then are brought inside. If anyone can give me any info/help I'd truly appreciate it.
