posts and then yours again, and realized you didn't
even ASK about water bowls! opps!
Could the article be suggesting that
you feed foods rich in calcium (daily) and
supplement that food with your powder form supplements
3 times a week?
Food with lots of calcium (to phosphorous ratio -
you want lots of calcium, little phosphorous)
are collard greens and dandelion greens for example.
That makes sense to me, since you mentined they
said supply calcium daily yet supplement 3 times weekly.
I feed my tortoise daily (OK probably 9 days out of 10)
and I spend a lot of time with him - walking around
outside supervising him if he's out of the fence
or his pen. (We're buiding him a new pen at our
new house next month).
I actually don't "FEED" him much during the summer
we just go outside.
