I never said I feed my torts nothing but bread, nor do I use it as a staple. Once in a while however I add soaked grain bread to my torts diet. For staples I use raddichio, chicory, endive, escarole, leaf lettuces, dandellion greens, turnip, watercress, collards, okra, squash, tomatillos, tomatoes, and kale.
