I never said I feed my torts nothing but bread, nor do I use it as a staple. Once in a while however I add soaked grain bread to my torts diet. For staples I use raddichio, chicory, endive, escarole, leaf lettuces, dandellion greens, turnip, watercress, collards, okra, squash, tomatillos, tomatoes, and kale. Torttrust does reccomend allowing sulcats access to h20. Paull however recommends against it. I prefer to spray my torts food with water before feeding.
