Lesha,

Adults can be quite ravenous! (babies too!) Mine will eat grass all day in addition to produce obtained for them. They also eat hay in quantities too. As far as total amounts? Not sure. Probably between the three currently kept with me (others adults are with two other herp keeping partners) I'd say they eat probably 50 pounds of food evey week. Maybe more or less depending on the time of year. As for growth rates, Terry hit it on the head in the previous post. I have raised some of my hatchlings for more than 5 years now that have shown great variability in size. Hope this helps a little.
