Dave, I hope your son didn't pay much for it because unfortunately I haven't seen one of those things turn out worth a damn, even when given lots of attention. They are really high strung and in my opinion would probably mess with your torts. Good luck! M

: My son just purchased a Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig (about the cutest thing you'll ever see in the mammal department). It will need to go outside in the summer and share the grassy area with tortoises.
: Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing? I don't think that pigs are inherently vicious as dogs are, nor as inquisitive as cats. They just like to root around everywhere and see what they can find to eat. I may have a hard time keeping the tort's salad safe, but other than that I expect no problems. OR AM I WRONG???
