I put the male with the female for a few days in the Fall. Then I put
the female back in her enclosure, where she hibernates, comes out
in late february and lays a clutch of 5 eggs on may 22.
Is it possible she'll lay again this season? If so, is it
based on last Fall's mating or does she need to mate again now to
produce the second clutch? How often do testudo graeca have
more than one clutch per year? please avise
