: : sergio,
: : first off, nothing here is definitive, it's only what i've averaged from talking with a dozen or so redfoot breeders.
: : 82-84 mostly male
: : between 84 and 86, males and females
: : 86-88 mostly females
: : temps below the low and above the high begin to result in deformities and/or death of the embryo.
: : once again this may or may not be the rule, this is just gathered from several successful breeders. could be true, or could be made up to sell hatchlings that were said to have been incubated for female.
: : one thing i can vouch for in my own personal experience is the temps being too low or too high results in deformities. in my experience extra or odd shaped scutes at high temp, and small hatchlings at low temps.
: : hope this helps. good lick with your tort. redfoots are great.
