First off there is plenty of phosphorus in plant material to begin with without adding it. Also calcium phosphate is harder to break down than calcium carbonate which breaks down to calcium and oxygen and CO2. Pretty basic stuff. Now I've been told that calcium glauconate provides the most usable calcium but I'm partial to calcium carbonate because it is redily found in nature.

: Why is a phosphorus free calcium supplement better than a supplement that has phosphorus in it? Thanks and sorry about the first post!
