Unless there is obvious distress there is no reason to induce labor. If the eggs are fertile she will nest. If they are not, she might or might not, nest. Either way as long as all her environmental needs are met, nature will take it's course. Signs to look for if she is in distress would be not walking high and going off feed. She will evacuate the eggs as needed on her own.

: and yes, he had egg "goo" on him. The vet said he probably has more than that, so we might have to induce labor.
