Hi for my babies inside when they dont have a tray of grasses to snack on, they get all they can eat in an hour and are done for the day.
My larger tortoise live outdoors and graze at will.
These animals are herbivores and may have to walk to obtain food in the wild but do get to eat daily. My preference is to stay with what's more normal to them as in the wild.
