Even in wild caughts the personalities are highly variable with some being very shy to down right agressive. Captive hatched seem to always adapt very well and become very out going.
(btw, I have a few available)
: I have heard that leopard tortoises are too shy to make good pets. I want one but I like to be able to enjoy my tortoise. Are they really that bad? Are sulcatas better. I onc had a sulcata and it wasn't very shy at all. Well, thanks for any help.
