Ed, great answer (I sound like Pat Sajak now...) but it's true. Wally, you need to get the diet down correctly to prevent future pyramiding, although correcting past pyramiding can't usually be done unless you correct it now and hope that the growth smooths out over time. So, start now and feed right. For more information on pyramiding and other chelonian info...see the website below...there are some good articles on there as well. And about breeding your sulcata, I would really advise you to hold off on doing that until you learn more and have your husbandry down pat. As there are SO MANY baby sulcatas out there now, if you are not going to keep your babies, you might want to think twice about breeding...just my 2 cents..With all I have learned over the past two years, I still don't feel confident enough to tackle the breeding thing and doubt I ever will...my one sulcata is all I can handle...but good luck Wally!!!
