Many of these are listed with caution advised but this one
If that isn't it, call your local agricultural extension office and ask what's running rampant in your area. They should know the Latin name. Post again with this or mail me and I'll hunt it down for you ok?
Take care,

: Hi,
: I have recently moved into a new home and the back yard is fenced so my Leopard tortoise can roam all he wants. The problem is I have bind weed (related to morning glory) that grows in profusion. This is a very difficult weed to control, as the roots can go 10 feet deep. It is growing everywhere in the lawn, so I can't spray it with anything. If my tortoise eats some, will it hurt him? I have not seen him eat anything other than dandelions but what if....? Have any ideas, comments or suggestions?
: Thanks
: Martin
