Usually pyramiding is caused by rapid shell growth from a high protien diet. Basically the scutes are growing faster than the tortoise. It can not be corrected, but future pyramiding can be prevented by cutting out the protien, and sticking with a fiberous diet. I.E. Dandelion greens, cale, mustard greens, spineless prickly pear is a nice treat, and like everyone else, I recomend Annie's pasture mix for Great grazing.
