If it has free range it 'knows' what it can and can't eat. It might taste it and if it is edible will chow down. If not it will spit it out and press on.

: Hi,
: I have recently moved into a new home and the back yard is fenced so my Leopard tortoise can roam all he wants. The problem is I have bind weed (related to morning glory) that grows in profusion. This is a very difficult weed to control, as the roots can go 10 feet deep. It is growing everywhere in the lawn, so I can't spray it with anything. If my tortoise eats some, will it hurt him? I have not seen him eat anything other than dandelions but what if....? Have any ideas, comments or suggestions?
: Thanks
: Martin
