Hi, I saw on Emergency Vets (Animal Planet),a turtle was brought in with a cracked shell. They cleaned out the wound and then put a piece of fiberglass cloth or netting over the wound. Then covered the cloth with bondo. The vet said that the bondo, over a period of time will fall off, but by then the wound would heal. Seek a vet's advice. Just thought I would share that with you. : I have a 3 inch sulcata hatchling that was attacked by my small dog. He has a brake in his shell on his belly, there as a very small amount of blood, then it stop bleeding.
: My tortoise is still alive but I am worried about the break in his shell on his belly. Can I us something to keep it from geting infected?
: Please help....
