While the subject is up, I have heard many people recommend Mulberry leaves as part of the diet of torts and other herbivores such as iguanas. However, I read somewhere (Dr. Frye's Reptile Clinican's Handbook I think) that only young Mulberry leaves should be fed, as they are otherwise poisonous. Is this true, and if so, how young is young? I know where I can get some leaves that are large but are a young, light green, and still a little tender. But they certainly aren't shoots anymore. Thanks.
