Just watch out ceramic heaters get really really hot. If your tortoises are in an enclosed enviornment it could fry them. I tried using a 30 watt ceramic bulb on a 60 gallon tank. It got way too hot. Try running it while no torts are in the enclosure. After a few hours get a temperature reading. That wat you will know how hot it gets.
