: I use the Bobst Animal Medical Center, on 62nd Street between the FDR drive and York avenue. They are open 24 hours, although this DOES NOT mean that a chelonian doctor will be on call at 3am. However, they take emergencies at all times of day, and during daylight hours, they always have an "exotics" specialist available. If you have the good fortune to make an appointment (in other words, not an emergency), then try for Dr. Morrisey. There are two other very talented doctors there, let me look them up to get you their name.
