Even though I recomend high temperatures for these and other tortoises it is crucial that they be able to get out of it. This is not harping on what happened but stressing a very important point for tortoises kept both indoors and out.

: Just wanted to say thanks to those who responded. My Sulcata is fine now and I do believe that he was over heated. He was in a large screen enclosure but didn't have any shade available to him. I know better now and will make the necessary changes so it doesn't happen again. I'm just glad he's okay. I was so worried yesterday and was glad for your help. thanks!!!!!!
