I used to enjoy this forum. I'd like to ignore this animosity, but it is absolutely pervading the threads. It seems that even the appeal to stick to the topic of tortoises for the sake of the animals and the people who have questions is not even enough to stop this. The issue of respect is a cross-species one; I don't think that we can respect tortoises or any other creature if we can't respect each other.

For what it's worth, can everyone please be nicer? Meanwhile, I think I will go look for a group therapist for this forum. (Hmmm... that sounds like a good 21st c. profession.)
